Current Volunteering Opportunities:
Events and Exhibitions
We are on a lookout for awesome volunteers to help us prepare and run our events. Exhibition openings, Installations, closings and de-installations. Our volunteers get light snacks at markets and events, and we recommend dressing up for an active day meeting our artsy and creative stallholders.
Roles include:
- Market/Event Prep and Set up
- Market Assistants
- Photography and participant feedback
- Pack Downs
Arts Activity and Programme Assistants
The Arts Village runs an artist taught School Holiday and after school Art Programme for 8-12 year olds. Volunteers help to supervise and encourage the children, and assist them and the tutor where needed.
- SCHOOL HOLIDAY’S
- Tuesdays to Fridays during the April, July, October school holidays
- 9.30am-3.30pm
- AFTER SCHOOL
- Tuesday and Wednesday
- 3.30pm-5.15pm
Workshops and Arts Activities
Volunteers help to supervise and encourage all participants, and assist them and the tutor where needed. Our volunteers play such a big role in assisting and possibly encouranged to join in and learn a new art form as well.
